These 3 spooky fellows are eagerly awaiting Halloween. And what better place than perched in purple mesh hanging on your front door.  This DIY mesh wreath is just the right amount of whimsy for Halloween décor.

These are the things you will need to make this fun wreath.

Work wreath

Roll 21" large weave purple deco mesh ( if large weave is not available, standard mesh will work)

Roll 10" orange deco mesh

Roll 2 1/2" orange print ribbon

Roll 2 1/2" black and white print ribbon

Large Halloween pick with 3 ghost

Assorted  small Halloween picks

Beginning on the inside ring of the work wreath. Gather the end of the mesh and secure it to the work wreath using the tinsel sprigs.

From there, start gathering the mesh every 12" and attach it to the work wreath as you work your way all the way around the inside ring.

When you have circled the inside ring, move to the outer ring and repeat the same step all the way around..

OK now we will add the 10"  orange mesh.  Measure 12" and cut.

Gather the mesh up the middle.  Gather from raw edge to raw edge.  This will limit fraying.

Place the piece of mesh in the tinsel sprigs on the outer ring, layering on top of the purple mesh.

Add a piece of the 10" mesh to each tinsel sprig on the outer ring only.

The next step is to add the ribbon.  Take the two ribbons and hold them together. Place both the ends of the two ribbons in the tinsel sprigs on the inside ring of the work wreath. Twist the sprigs tightly around the ribbon.

Allow the ribbon to lay loosely over the purple mesh.  Pinch the ribbon at each tinsel sprig and secure it to the wreath.  It is important not to pull the ribbon tight.

Craft a bow by looping the ribbon and secure it over the point where the ribbon meets the starting point.

Now for  accessories.  Clip the 3 glittery ghost apart from the large pick.

Using hot glue to hold it in place, push the wire stem down into the mesh.

You can see in the picture below that the placement should be random.

Fill in the other picks around the wreath using hot glue to hold them in place.
